Are You Familiar With Eames Lounge Chair?

Mark Wentzel believes the Eames lounge chair to be the perfect canvas for his expression of American’s bloated sense of material entitlement. Taking the beloved classic Eames lounger, he seems to have exploded the usually sleek, subtle shape of the leather upholstery of both the chair and ottoman into a disgusting bulbous shape similar to the shapeless garbage bag Missy Elliot wore in her “I Can’t Stand the Rain” music video. I’m not sure why he used Eames lounge chairs as the basis for this particular artistic statement, but it is interesting, if not a little repulsive.
